Chihuly Garden Installations

I ordered this book and received it one day early! It is in beautiful condition. It’s absolutely gorgeous and is the the purchase I am most excited about in a very long time through Amazon. Maybe at all! I’ve seen Chihuly’s installation in Seattle, this book covers so many wonderful installations, including Seattle; this is definitely my favorite Chihuly book. The seller was phenomenal. The book - not a scratch, bend, mark, nothing. I LOVE IT. I will continue to look for this seller, as I know the description and delivery is exceptional and correct. I recommend this seller highly. I so rarely write reviews anymore, but I am so thoroughly pleased with the book, the seller, and their completely honest description of the book’s condition (excellent in my opinion) that I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. In fact, I sent a message to them to learn when they have their book sales so I can scan Amazon for their offerings. This book is simply gorgeous, and the seller is outstanding. I’m aware I already said that! There are not enough superlatives to describe this experience and my happiness. Thank you so much for a beautiful book.

I find it interesting that Chihuly's art cannot really be appreciated in a widepsread way without truly spectacular photography OF his artworks. If you are lucky enough to see one of his creations in person or visit his 1 "retail" museum/ shop in Florida (or now his very own glass house in Seattle) then you realize how hard it is to capture his utterly unique visions with a camera. This book is just about perfect in this regard. You can see his intentions & get a good feeling for his creative process & the skill, time, energy, genius and wit that his exhibitions require. I'd like to chop up the pages & display them as posters...........Mmmmm, kinda pricey & I don;t believe in destroying books but it is tempting. I have a poster of his --the more exclusive prints etc are out of my price range--but I can afford & enjoy the books of his works. Also his calendars. I have other books of his but this one is simply wonderful -- bright, vivid colors & lush almost 3-D effects. Amazon also gave me a great price !

Have seen Chihuly exhibits in Las Vegas, Mohican Sun Casino, twice in The New York Botanical Gardens, and in Venice. This book is comprehensive, gorgeously illustrated, and filled with the kinds of "behind the scenes" information a Chihuly enthusiast would treasure. I treasure this book and have stuffed it full of additional photos I've taken. If you love Chihuly's work, get the book!

The book has absolutely beautiful photographs of Chihuly’s glass in garden settings. I have the book as a gift to my friend who is a fan of Dale Chihuly’s glass. She loved it!

If you are going to get 1 book from Chihuly, this is it! This book is worth the full price and at Amazon's price, it's a bargain. I've looked through quite a few of Chihuly's books and this is by far the best. My favorite coffee table book. The photographs are truly stunning. And the pictures come to life in the garden settings. It's one of those books I'll look through and each and every time I'm left dazed with amazement and wonder at Chihuly's work. This is the 2nd best thing next to being able to see Chihuly's work at an exhibit or museum.

This was a Christmas gift for my sister. She is a big Chihully fan and she absolutely loved the book and the many pictures inside.

I saw the Dale Chihuly installation at the Dallas Arboretum and it changed my life. Always a lover of glass and color, to see his nature-inspired works was fun and moving. I immediately came home and ordered 2 of his books from Amazon. This one is beautifully done, excellent quality photos, and background on the artist. It is heavy, a perfect coffee table book and my guests have been enthralled with the photos. Buy this if you love art, color, glass and inspiration.

Bought this book after seeing the exhibition in London. Full pagepicturesof thegardens and glass pieces. Bright colours jump off the page. Fantastic. A really good value book which you can look at put down and pick up again from any page.
