Great unit and puts out tons of heat. Looks amazing and surprisingly easy to install.

Packaging for the whole set was very good. The logs were nicely packed between foam panels eliminating any chance of them being broken during shipping. Very easy to assemble per the instructions, but I would definitely order the flex line kit that is a recommended add on which made the installation very easy. Finally, it’s just a beautiful gas log set when lit. Tremendous value for $149! Highly recommended!!

We did a significant amount of research on AMAZON and multiple other specialty shops. This was by-far the best value for the money. We did order additional lava rock; however, we DID NOT need the additional connection kit (w/flex hose), as recommended by some people. One concern: The log grate has turned white in a 4" area on the front, obviously due to heat. Others than that, this looks incredibly realistic!

No complaints - 1 month into use. Like other users have said, the connection pip is cheap aluminum and too long and/or requires bending to fit. Even with my pipe bender, it still didn't look safe. Ended up buying a flexible hose. Easy hook-up. Good, natural look.

Get this set, you can't go wrong! My parents paid well over 4 times as much for theirs, and it doesn't perform or look any better than this.*Note: The picture doesn't look as nice as the fire in personInstallation note: I wouldn't install this without a flexible gas line kit. It'd work fine with their hardware, but I don't think 10 bucks is worth to hassle of gently bending the aluminum pipe they provide. A kit will also include any connectors needed to connect to your gas line, as well as an additional valve (I appreciate a redundant valve JUST IN CASE one fails).

The media could not be loaded.  We are really happy with this, the look is pretty darn realistic, very cozy. As other reviewers have noted, the connecting pipe that comes with it is a little problematic, it's too long considering the size of this unit. If you have a flanging tool to make it shorter, that will work although you should do it before you start bending the pipe (and a pipe bender would make it easier.) Anyway we just went and bought a new flexible hose connector and it works great. Despite that little hiccup with installation I would still recommend this because of how nice it looks for the price.

Pretty happy, nice look at first and surprised at the heat generated. My only critique is that after burning the logs for a week now, they have turned black with soot and the nice wood paint color is gone, they still function fine but that nice wood color is now black with soot.

Well worth the money. I don’t think one that was 3 times the price could be any better.Easy to install but I would recommend buying a flexible gas line as the one included is difficult to bend in order to use it. Everything else included was just fine.Very happy with this gas log set.
