When I unpacked my planters, I discovered the coconut fiber was "sewn" to the top edge of the planter with nice heavy nylon "thread" No sliding around or falling out here! Both the chain and the basket are solidly built! I have a lot of soil in these and even soaking wet, I don't worry about anything falling apart. Add to all of that a simple but pretty circle pattern around the top edge. You've found the perfect hanging basket for your beautiful flowers!A tip I picked up in my search for the perfect basket: Water flows through soil and coconut fiber very quickly, leaving you with puddles and and a dried-up plant, even when you water frequently. Before planting, tuck a plastic grocery bag inside the bottom half of the coconut fiber (just turn the handles back), then fill with potting soil and your lucky plant. The soil will stay moist and your plant should thrive!

This is a very well made product. It is elegant in its appearance and strong as well. I can hardly wait to see it overflowing with blooms. I will get more of them. I am very pleased.

These hanging baskets are beautiful. I bought three and was not disappointed. Nice and deep so the plants have plenty of room for the roots.

It is a classy looking hanging basket. The decorative metal rim is quite attractive. It is going to take quite a lot of whatever to fill it up though.

This is a beautiful basket. This is my second purchase of this basket. I liked the first one so much that I purchased another one!

Beautiful high quality basket. Extra deep for good root development. I have owned these baskets for about 6 years. I have one in the antique white color and 5 in the verdigris green color. I also have two white metal 14" standing pots in a different style from this same manufacturer. Here is the one and only downside -- it's very difficult locating replacement cocoa liners for these baskets. The company no longer makes them, and the regular cocoa liners found at all the nurseries and big box stores are just not deep enough. These baskets need a liner 14" wide by 9" tall. What I do is buy sheets of the cocoa material and cut my own liners, or I buy 2 regular liners and cut one up to add height to the first one. The liner that comes with the basket is very thick, so that original liner will last through a few planting seasons before needing replacement.
