Works perfectly. They need to be cut down to size but work great!

I got these purely for the yellow, orange, red filters. I cut them with an exact-o knife (I don't know who ran off with my paper cutter ... ) to fit the screen of my Kindle Paperwhite because at night the PaperWhite turns into a Paper-GREEN! I read my Kindle at night while I am winding down in bed, but it puts on this intense Green-blushish light which the research suggests is the worst for disrupting circadian rhythms and sleep parameters like to time fall asleep, and the restorative quality of sleep. Now my Kindle is 100% perfectly readable at night, no distortion or blurring, and it is a RED light, as far away as I can go on the visible light spectrum from green-blue. Right now I a cutting to fit a yellow or orange filter and attaching velcro strips to the edges to put on my laptop screen at night so I can still get work done, without compromising my sleep. The only thing that you need to know is that these do appear to scratch easily, so be mindful of that. On the upside, at least at the time of my purchase, these are really cheap so worst case if you scratch one up its an easy replacement. Previously I was wearing the UVEX industrial orange glasses at night with my kindle, which also function perfectly well, but I like to read my kindle laying on my side, in which case the glasses dig into my face and negates any enjoyment I have reading. I still use the UVEX for other applications and they are a fantastic product.

I work in production and accustomed to professional color correcting gels, but needed deep "theatrical" color gels for our outdoor Halloween lighting, these worked out great. They can easily be cut to size for your lights. Only drawback is they have to be doubled for a deep color which creates more work for this lazy dad. Regarding heat resistant, I wouldn't suggest using them with tungsten lights as I'm sure they're not up to it.

These are almost perfect for my Acucolors.com penlights, all except for the orange & the green, which don't have enough color pigment to call them orange or green. In addition, the violet allows white light through which is not good for color lighting correction. The Red isn't a true red. If the manufacturer would make these pigment adjustments I'd refer all of my clients to buy this one set. The one feature I love about this set is that you can mix colors. For example, to come up with the correct orange color, I mix red + yellow. To get the correct green I need, mix yellow + light blue (the dark blue doesn't mix well for some reason, but it is a good stand alone indigo blue). In order to block out white light for violet you need 3 sheets. Yellow & Pink are stronger using 2 layers. For the desired turquoise color I need, I mix 1 of the deficient green + the light blue. But, you can see, that by being able to mix colors these gels are still usable. The color disks punch very easily out of this plastic material compared to the other film gels that won't cut evenly. These gels are also stiffer and thicker making them perfect for making color penlights kits that can be used in AcuColors color healing on the acupoints of the body.

Work as intended. It's really easy to miss, which probably attributed to the negative and misleading reviews.Once you get them, spend time peeling both sheets off each side and you're golden. Full color saturation, no cloudiness.I'm using these for video, so i'll be shining light through them continuously. I have LED lights, so heat or melting is a non issue. But if you're concerned they will melt, use common sense. If you know your light kicks out some serious heat, these are probably a no go. But that goes for any colored gel.Overall, awesome pickup.

The media could not be loaded. Hi there I got this mainly for video recording and photos for my clients and personal use. Yes you'll see a dent in the filter that was the mail man who stuffed it in my mail box. It doesn't bother me because it's not noticeable when it's apply to the light. (Neewer 660 Bi-Color 3200-5600k) I love it. I didn't do all the colors I wanted to show you how it looks on the light. I use regular tape to stick on the screen protector for the light. The filter are perfect don't forget to remove the plastic. And it seems to be finger print proof- no smudging.

Love these! They work great over a reflector, good color quality, and can be layered for more color options. The price is great too. I just wish they made more colors,I would pick up those too!

You get a nice selection of colors, and quite a few different gels. I noticed a burn mark forming when using some gels that I cut to size to fit my lumecubes. They tend to get hot, but not nearly as hot as bigger lights. I noticed burn marks forming after using for about 10 minutes, the lights didn't even get that hot. I'd be worried about the lights melting the gels and ruining my lights. Would be a nice set for other lights that don't heat up.
