Just excellent, I don't know what else to say
Just excellent, I don't know what else to say.Pros: Insanely warm, not a drop in 80 mps plus downpour, zippers galore. This is kinda real gear-head stuff. Its neat, clean, good quality materials and I feel "safer" in it. It has like 3 liners you can make it modular galore and wear it like 3 different ways for different conditions.Cons. A bit heavy, because of the materials are super thick nylon (save you from skids and all). So, like I said above, that probably will also make it a bit warm in super hot weather. I guess they could work on the neck a bit, and the velcro will eventually wear out (any dry cleaner will replace velcro on your jacket, any jacket usually)...I really like it and I feel "safer". I also bought some inserts for more protection cuz I love myself.

Great for Texas winters!
Works great for Texas winters. I have ridden in these in 34 degrees (I have the Alexi jacket as well), and they worked like a charm! When you are choosing your size, these run big. I wear a 38 in jeans, so originally bought a 40, to offset for wearing jeans with the riding pants. Even with jeans on, and all three pants layers, the 40s were really big. So I sent them back and replaced them with 38s, and they fit perfectly.

Mejoras en el diseño del pantalón
Entrega inmediata.

I loved these pants... I purchased these for my long commute after work on cold mornings and they have been a life saver.

Decent Product
Material feels perfectly fine with all layers in it, but once you take out all the layers it feels like your surounded by paper. Doesnt feel like it would hold up.

Saved me in a crash, more waterproof than other "100% waterpoof" pants, great modular system
Amazing pants, I've had them for 3 years and driven 5000+mi cross-country in them several times. They were great when I bought them, and they're still great now, there's not a single torn seam or loose thread after all these miles.I just went down in them yesterday at around 40mph, and I'm writing this review now because they saved me from what could have been several serious leg injuries. The knee protection did it's job perfectly, and there's a huge puncture near the crotch area, but it didn't go all the way through and thankfully I can still have kids thanks to these pants. Buying another pair of the exact same kind.My only small gripe is that the waterproof layer isn't totally waterproof. It'll keep you dry through a heavy thunderstorm or two, but if it's longer than 3 hours of continuous, heavy rain they will eventually soak through. Even when they do soak through, it's mild and they dry out quickly. They're still more waterpoof than other pants I've bought that have claimed 100% waterproof (which these do not claim to be).

cheap details to an otherwise great pants
I went looking for a daily commuting pant and this is what I found so far about Sedici Alexi. The fitting was horrible. I had to take a women's pant because the knee protection in the male one is so misplaced that it was always in the shin area... while seated. I'm 5'9" BTW. Women's fitting is way better and the pant is exactly the same but for the zipper side, so take notice. I bought the pant and so far I was happy until I noticed the velcro belts were ripping apart in many places around the pant! I'm talking about a 3 month old pant OK!? Look, the pant is otherwise good, but these little details should be heavily considered before investing on them. The manufacturer states the products have lifetime warranty, but reaching them has so far been impossible. Their site has no "contact". Mega red flag. I really wanted to like this one.

NOT waterproof!
I've only wore these for the 2nd time today. I rode through a moderate rainstorm and my crotch area got wet, possibly from water pooling on my seat. I'm very disappointed, especially for the amount of money I spent. These pants keep me less dry than cheap frog toggs. No way would I recommend them to anyone.
