SAMLITE - LED bat Flashlight, Super Bright Lumens, Water Resistant

The functionality of this light is nice but it is made from very thin plastic and would not withstand the elements very well. The batteries rest on the bottom under a small thin piece of plastic with no seal. Great price but not a durable item.

GREAT LITTLE LAMP WITH SEVERAL OPTIONS. GOOD VALUE.

I initially tried this with some batteries from the drawer that must not have been new and the light was not very bright, so know that if your batteries start to go bad, this will not be much use, but with new batteries it was surprisingly bright. It has three settings which is nice. The first click is lantern but only the center light which is a little easier on the eyes. The second click adds the LED's surrounding the center part of the lantern which would definitely light up a tent and most rooms with a power outage. The third actually lights up the LED's around the battery compartment on the bottom and with the lantern closed in makes a flashlight type device. Because it isn't shaped like a flashlight, it is a little more awkward to hold, but still useful. It would be more useful, and may be intended to be, to provide light straight below the light when it is hanging up, which would be nice too.It does feel a little cheaper in quality than a similar battery lantern we have. The Coleman battery lantern here:  Coleman 5319-700 MicroPacker LED Mini Lantern, Yellow  I feel like this Samlite one will not stand up to as many kid drops as the Coleman, it is 2$ more, but it does have 3 different light settings and the coleman only has one. The coleman also doesn't have the flashlight feature. Out of the package, one of the two that we purchased together had a small crack in the plastic "glass" of about 1 cm, but did not change the usability and since it doesn't look like it is spreading, I won't bother with a return. I received this product at a discount for my honest review.

I LOVE this little lantern. It takes 3 AA batteries (not included). You press the button once and the lantern will light on the lower output (you just up up the handle and the lantern will show. You push the button twice and the lantern will light high output. Press three times and the lantern will go out and if you lift it up there is a nice little flashlight. I will be returning with pictures soon. It is small and does not take up much space. I have the orange one so even if I put it on a shelf the color will be easy to spot. I really wish I had this lantern a few weeks ago when we were hit by a blizzard and lost power for a while and candles really don't cut it! I know Between Hurricane Sandy when we lost power for two weeks and blizzard night I am sooooo happy this wasn't the 1800's!I received this product for a discounted cost in exchange for a fair and honest review. I can say that everything I have said about this lantern is my opinion alone. I, like you ,am an avid Amazon shopper and I rely on honest reviews when I am shopping for myself and my family.

This lantern arrived on time and well packaged. After testing the lantern I found that it performed great!! The lantern seems well made and durable. I'm very happy with this purchase and think it will be extremely useful to me for a long time. Some of the features of this lantern are. The light is very bright. It also has had three light modes. It's Small Enough For, Camping, Backpacking, Hiking, Fishing, and it's simple to hang up just about anywhere. I did receive a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review of this product. This little light is so nice and compact but puts out a lot of light. There are 3 light options. The first is the lantern, the second is the lantern again but brighter, and the third is the lights on the bottom which is more like a flashlight. The light is powered by 3 AA batteries which are not included. This light will be really handy to keep in our emergency kit but to also use for camping.
