Absolutely delightful fragrance, really nice soap, I have cut the big bar in to 4pcs so that I can use small pcs and it will not melt away. Thanks for small sliver sample of other soap to try. Definitely recommend this.

This Roots & Herbs cleansing bar, really is a gourmet cleansing bar. So beautifully packaged, such a wonderful story presentation on the box and such a wonderful cleansing bar that I am so pleasantly surprised and happy with the quality of. I showered and washed with this soap and it smells so nice and gave me such a nice, natural feeling lather and cleaning. The lather rinsed off my skin so nicely and my skin feels clean and soft and not dried out at all. My skin feels nourished and taken care of. I love specialty companies like this that make specialty hand made soaps, they are so much more gentler and nourishing and natural. I always let my hand made soaps air dry to protect them and this cleansing bar came with it’s own soap stand with Roots & Herbs nicely written on the stand. Looks so nice sitting on my bathroom counter. I noticed that this cleansing bar holds up well and does not dissolve away really fast like some soaps do, which shows me that it is a very high quality, very well made cleansing bar. It really is very beautifully made and looks really nice sitting on it’s own wooden stand and my skin feels so nice after washing with this soap. Very pleasantly pleased.

This actuallu has a strong scent. I would have love it but unfortunately the scent is not for me. On the positive side it is moisturizing and makes the skin soft. It is still important to apply lotion after. It is a bit soft. It kinda melt quicker than I thought

Soap lasted me a long time and smells great, but I was expecting better quality and bigger size for the price. It comes with a wooden dish which is a cute addition

The soap is beautiful, with earthy tones and swirls.  Red clay is supposed to help soothe and detoxify irritated skin by drawing out impurities, plus it contains lots of minerals.  The rose smell is surprisingly strong, at least for someone with a strong nose.  In fact, usually I don't like rose things much at all but this is a true rose flower smell, not a fake rose scent.  It lathers well but will take several weeks of using before I know if it's "therapeutic" as they say on the box.  Anyway, I don't see that the price is that outrageously high for a special piece of soap, ie, one that's hand-churned, organic, all natural etc.  I think it would make a great gift for anyone interested in ayurvedic things or natural products or even the spa (my favorite local spa has a red clay room).  Finally, it's pretty cool they break down ingredients by weight; they're essentially giving you the recipe to make it yourself (ha!).  The only thing I don't love is that the box is bigger than the soap (if you see the pictures, the soap is about 2/3 of the box) with the strange loofa taking up the rest - if it were up to me, I'd prefer more soap and no loofa.
