We love it
There are a lot of negative reviews on this product. Don’t listen. A lot of people said the taste was bad. I personally like the taste. I totally agree with the other comments that it’s even tastier when added with oat milk. Kind of like a chai tea. My fiancé and I think it’s a wonderful way to end the night and every time we’ve had it before bed we both sleep amazing. That being said, does it taste anything like alcohol no. I don’t think it’s intended to taste like alcohol. It’s supposed to have the same calming effects. And it does! Remember to keep it refrigerated!

Not worth it
I bought both Dream Light and High Rhode. Neither came in the neat box I saw in reviews; just a loose bottle in brown cardboard and bubble wrap.Dream Light tastes horrible. I tried it straight at first and almost threw up. If you’re buying this, buy some oat milk to mask the flavor. I tried regular milk, but it seemed to curdle and get chunky when mixed. High Rhode is fine straight up, but Dream Light… holy hell what a disgusting drink. It’s very bitter, tastes like vommit with cinnamon. Somehow, mixing with oat milk saves it. It becomes like a creamy spiced tea. But you HAVE to mix it with something.High Rhode tastes fine on its own, but even nicer mixed with fruit flavors, sparkling water, or even just flat water. I’ve been mixing it with some berry flavor Mio Sport and tap water, and it’s really nice. Fruit is the way to go with this one.As far as claims of the effect it will have, I noticed nothing with Dream Light. Didn’t really help me sleep, nor feel calm while awake. It’s kind of a nice drink with oat milk—again, like a spiced tea—but doesn’t *do* anything. Certainly not worth the price. With High Rhode, I do notice a slight difference, but nothing crazy. An ibuprofen will give you more of a high than Kin will. Still, at least this one does *something.*Overall, not worth the money, and doesn’t really do anything. I’ve had my fun, but would not recommend to anyone looking for a good feeling, nor a good drink; this provides neither.

Nice to mix with ginger ale
Came nicely boxed up. Taste is decent. I taste a bit of ginger so it’s good to mix with ginger ale. Can’t say it cured me of drinking, but I’m a heavy weight. So I’ll have to keep my nose to the grind stone to stop consuming alcohol myself. Overall it good. Price? Meh

Trying new things, interesting!
I was excited to try Kin Euphorics High Rhode for our housewarming party. The idea of a non-alcoholic aperitif with adaptogens and nootropics intrigued me, and I was looking for something a little different to serve our guests. While I enjoyed having another option beyond the usual drinks, I have to admit I didn't really experience the "elevated social hour" that's advertised. Perhaps my expectations were too high. The drink itself is...fine. It's a pleasant enough tonic, though I did notice that the granules tend to settle at the bottom, so you need to give it a shake every now and then. That wasn't a huge deal, just something to be aware of. Overall, it was an interesting addition to our gathering, and everyone enjoyed trying something new. It definitely sparked some conversation. However, if you're expecting dramatic effects from the adaptogens and nootropics, I'd say temper your expectations. For me, it was more about having a unique and non-alcoholic aperitif option.

This is a decent if extremely overpriced product
This product is not misadvertised in the least. It is a gentle pick me up that generally provides a minor uplifting yet relaxing boost. I would call the flavor complex. It basically tastes like green coffee bean extract mixed with orange bitters with a a mild sweetness and a light floral note at the end. It hits you fast because it is a liquid. My problem is that you can virtually get the same effects from any number of over the counter supplements for a fraction of the price. For example, I take a supplement that contains higher amounts of rhodiola root and ginger, as well as other mood lifting substances for .15 cents a day. My multivitamin has 100 milligrams of caffeine in it as well as other boosters for .25 cents a day. One serving of this is over 3.75 at the time of this review. The brand is attempting to get you to pay an major premium for a product that other products do better. If you want a bad tasting but uplifting social elixir, I think that a good Tongan or Samoan Kava would easily blow this out of the water. With all of this said, I would recommend this product, but I would not recommend it for over $20.00 a pop. Better yet, make something similar yourself by making a green tea and adding these supplements to the tea and strain it through a pair of panty hose and store it in your fridge in a mason jar. You'll get the same amount and effects for about an 8th of the total price.

DO NOT MIX WITH REAL MILK
Disappointing.I’ve been getting ads for this for ages and was excited to try.The Dream Light is quite strong on its own, but it did say it’s made to mix.Unfortunately, it’s not that either.I mixed mine with a mug of warm milk which was admittedly tasty for a brief moment and then the Dream Light seemed to separate and get globby? Not a sophisticated calming ritual at all.If this is a such a significant and known issue, oat milk should not just be a suggestion. I thought y’all were just vegan!! There should be a warning that you can’t mix it with regular milk. But of course, that would cause people to worry what might be wrong with your product that it’s incompatible with milk, which I am also curious to know.At $32 for 16.9 oz, this is priced like a nice liquor. Unfortunately, unlike liquor, it only good for a month and has to be refrigerated that whole time, which is inconvenient. As for the ingredients, I felt some effects, but if you have any real sleep issues, there’s only so much you can expect from natural options like this.I’ll try it again with oat milk and report back, but definitely bummed that this company charges so much for a product that lasts such a short period while not being transparent about options for mixing.
