Aida Cloth 14 Count Cross Stitch Fabric,12×18inch,5Pcs (White)

I just rediscovered cross stitching again. I’ve even turned a few of my friends on to it. I love it! I’ve always used white or off white Aida fabric but I bought this black for a certain pattern I have (which I haven’t started yet. Don’t judge me lol).I don’t know how many of you watch Schitts Creek, however me and a few other people at work do and my boss is one of them. Anyway, her husbands name is David and she says “ew, David” to him a lot. Well I created this pattern and made it for her. It turned out awesomely on this black Aida fabric

I really like these sheets of aida and they're great for making interesting projects that really pop. The edges do seem to fray more than higher priced counterparts, but I just cap the edges with fabric glue and a foam brush so I don't have to worry about having to trim excessively when I frame in a photo frame.

The fabric is very stiff -- almost like trying to stitch on cardboard. I've been stitching for well over 40 years and I have never encountered Aida cloth as stiff as this product from China. It is much easier to stitch on plastic canvas or perforated paper than this very stiff fabric. There is a lot of drag trying to pull the needle through the fabric. And, yes, I'm using the same size needle and fabric count as I have done on the 50+ ornaments I've stitched in the last 14 months. The color was exactly what I wanted, but the fabric is so difficult to work with. Fortunately, I only have five more ornaments to be stitched -- then I'll get rid of this fabric. Because I was under time constraints, I ordered online instead of visiting my nearest brick and mortar cross stitch shop over an hour away.

A pretty pale pink, soft, not stiff, came individually wrapped. Only folded once which is nice, sometimes it’s hard to get those creases smooth. I would recommend this, I am a pattern designer and I’m picky about about my fabrics.

I'm very happy that each sheet is individually wrapped and the cut is square. No wasteful trimming required. I can use every inch. The color will make an attractive background for my Christmas ornaments.

Exactly what I wanted- beautiful, bright white 14ct Aida cloth. Well packaged- 5 pieces of 12 x 15" were folded in half and individually packaged together in a zip bag. The edges are cut precisely and fabric is stiff and clean. Good value and quality, I'm very pleased and will purchase again!

I don't leave many reviews but I'm making an exception. I just picked cross stitching back up after a 20+yr hiatus. This cloth is perfect for any skill level. I love that they came individually wrapped. The cloth itself is is good quality and the amount of cloth you get for the money is worth it.
