Big improvement alot faster
The media could not be loaded. I had my ps4 since 2017 brand new no problems what so ever all of sudden in 2023 my game has been crashing even the games especially gta 5 I initialize atleast 40 times this whole year in 2024 did everything even call playstation support still no helpBut I read about the situation on YouTube an Google its the hard driver doing the errors but so far it's been running very smooth no problems yet.Thank you so very much.

Great for PS3
I bought this for a ps3 I got on marketplace. This is what you need to get it to work. A USB drive formatted to FAT32. Make a folder PS3. Put a folder inside that called UPDATE. download the latest update from Sony. 4.91. Drop it in the update folder and plug that into the ps3. Go into ps3 safe mode and select software update. Works like a charm.

Perfect pS4 HDD
The old drive On my Sony PS4 was corrupt and Couldn't be updated. With this new drive, a FAT 32 formatted USB drive with the PS4 update file downloaded on it, I was able to Save my PS4 that works like new With way more storage.

Good Purchase
I picked up a 1TB hard drive, and it’s been a great addition. Plenty of space for files and games, and it runs smoothly with decent read and write speeds. Not as fast as an SSD, but for the price and storage, it’s worth it. Just check compatibility and go with this trusted brand for reliability.

No go for ps3
Bought 2.. first one didn’t work when trying to update from safe mode on PS3 to play some old video games. Had update files set up correctly on USB Stick and thought maybe it is a coincidence. So bought another one to hopefully see if it’ll work, nope. Soo don’t buy for PS3.Checked date on hard drives.. years old. Don’t recommend.

They are old hard drives but the work fine ,I used mine to replace a bad HDD on my ps4 pro.
