The plate is too narrow. The heat isn’t evenly distributed. Not happy at all with the quality. I have use HAI products for years and never had a problem. This is not a cheap item and I expected a higher quality. Return window closed after 1 month!!! No replacement no refund available.

I have a old Hai silk. I really enjoyed it and so I purchased this one believing it would do the same great job as my old one. It sadly does not. I hate the way it leaves my hair frizzy and on the brink of curling up any moment. This thing was not worth the money I spent on it. Had I known that it wasn't a Hai silk I'd never have purchased it. I didn't feel like going to planet beauty to buy one so I decided to take the easy route and just order one off Amazon. That was my fault I should have gone in to the store to verify I was getting the right product. The second mistake I made was not opening the package right away. I was on business and long story short waited to long to see if I could return the thing. Now I'm stuck with a expensive version of what should be sold as a cheap $20 flat iron. Make sure you buy a HAI silk if you want your hair to stay straight for more than 5 min.

I was expecting the iron to leave a salon quality look based on the brand. However, I found that the temperature settings and the finish to my hair after flat ironing did not meet expectations. I resorted to using an older flat iron. Perhaps investing in the higher priced HAI is worth it.

I have course curly hair, I own a Hai, the blue one, I have had it for over 8 yrs and work amazing but my teen age daughter some how took over it. I bought this one and is not the same. Doesn't leave my hair silky and it feels like it pulls. I was disappointed. It might work for you if don't have course curly hair.

I have only had this flat iron for 3 months. I don't even use it every day. After about the tenth tim using it it stopped working. There must be a short in the cord or something.

The HAI that i owned before finally gave out after 5 years or more. My only regret is not buying a newer model sooner. Glides through my hair with ease and looks fabulous!

This straightener was good while it lasted. I had it not even 6 months and it just decided to stop working completely. Doesn’t heat up but the lights turn on. So frustrating that it happened the morning I had an interview!
