not for tall heels or dancing
okay let me start by saying i hate being the person to leave a bad review, but this product has pissed me off so here we go. i am a pole dancer and sadly our shoes break constantly from dancing and pole tricks. luckily only the straps of mine broke so i just needed to replace them. i bought these straps in particular because they are matte black just like my dance shoes. this product i believe is meant for heels that are 2-5 inches and mine are 8ā (see photo) the back strap sits on the very bottom of my foot so when i walk it 1. slips off and 2. pushes my foot out of the shoe. these things are insanely uncomfortable and in conclusion i wish i didnāt spend $12 on them. but iām giving 2 stars because iām gonna wear these til i get new shoes and itās better than nothing

Oh it works!
I never knew these things existed. For YEARS I would pass by the cutest of pumps because they just don't stay on my feet. Ever. If a shoe doesn't have an ankle or over the foot strap, then I can't wear it. UNTIL NOW!Okay, I will say I am returning these. Not because they don't work, but because the design/style is not my favorite and doesn't work well with my personal style. Functionality wise, these are amazing though. I'm not sure if heel height makes any difference, but it was a concern for me. I wear from 4" to 6" heels. So I did a test run with a 4" pair of pumps I've had for years and never been able to wear more than just around the house. I wore them to work and was able to spend an entire day without the shoes slipping. It was amazing. I did the walking through the house trial run with a couple pairs of 6" heels and it was just as perfect. The pictures are of my 6" heels.My one concern with them was the velcro. I loved the velcro but the ends didn't stick very well. If I were wearing something where my feet were visible, I thought it might be slightly noticeable that the closure was velcro and didn't seal very well at the tips. But, I feel like that could be a personal preference of mine seeing as I'm a seamstress and notice these types of things. Does the average person notice this stuff?? lolAnyways, if these match your style, I highly recommend them. Functionality wise, they're amazing and very easy to use.

Weird elastic on top of foot
*review of the gold and black straps with the ties on the back* While these were cute, they had a couple issues. First there was a piece of unsightly elastic on the top strap right on top of where it would sit on your foot, second they were oddly loose around my ankle. If you don't care about a weird looking piece of elastic then go for it but if you want a stylish shoe strap then avoid this one.

I love these. I'm a more than a crazy shoe women lol but I have tons of heels that actually start to fall off when I walk due to the way their made. And forget dancing & sweaty feet they fall off. I hv to admit I was skeptical of the fit of these but had to try because my gorgeous expensive shoes r sitting n the closet. I tried these with a bunch of my heels & they not only change up the looks which I love they fit precise. I loveee these. They easily fit on ALLL of my heels. I'm buying every color & mk I love these. Cnt say enough. The unique made heels are also snug n comfy so now I can wear those too. I highly suggest these to every women that loves her shoes.

Works for me!!
I love these straps!! They fit my shoes perfectly and blend into them well. I use these with the heel grips and can now use those cute shoes that I've been ignoring because my heel would slip out. It is easy to put on. My tip, make sure the garter is on the bottom of the shoe. I had a hard time remembering which strap goes on which foot.It's strong, sturdy and not cumbersome. No one can tell that its not a part of the shoe. So don't point it out. ha!

Poor quality
Very poorly made which is a shame because the design is good and it's a very useful product hence two stars instead of one. What I mean by poorly made is that1) Both straps have stitching right in the middle of the front strap that goes across the front of the ankle.2) The worst part is that the right strap had that front stitching pulling apart when I put it on BEFORE I even walked in my shoes. So useless in the end.

Ingenious!
Simply ingenious! I bought these because my feet kept slipping out of my favorite pumps. I was only able to wear them twice for very short distances though quite comfortable. I thought of bringing them to a shoemaker to get a strap affixed to the top, but checked out Amazon first instead. Surely there must have been a fix. Low and behold, there was. This allows me to wear my pumps and the black strap adds some elegance too. Iāll be wearing them with other pumps and will certainly buy more colors. Thank you!
