Inaccurate and not ready for real-world use
Product is essentially worthless. It doesn’t accurately register air contaminants compared to other air quality monitors. Software is terrible and difficult to find due to a generic name and that it’s made by a third party. Even the scan code in the manual is so small that you can’t actually scan it to find the software. Product just is not ready for real-world use.

Real time 2.5 PM monitor with WIFI app for a great price, BUT
Real time PM 2.5 readings are shown in ug/m3 on top of unit and also in a WIFI app on your phone (optional). This alone makes the unit well worth the price paid, thus 4 stars. However the unit has issues that may trip up some folks. In addition to the digital readout on top the unit has a base which glows with a color that is related to the AQI (Air Quality Index) of the readout, GOOD, MODERATE, and UNHEALTHY. The problem is that the color indicator is calibrated for the AQI of China, not the US. Readings from 0-75 ug/m3 are shown as green (GOOD range). In the US, the range of GOOD stops at 50 ug/m3. The unit glows yellow for the MODERATE range up to 115 ug/m3 (China AQI). In the US the MODERATE range stops at 100. Finally, >115 ug/m3 the unit glows red for UNHEALTHY (China AQI).Unlike a web review site findings, the app readings correlated exactly with the unit readout. This may be explained because the readout is in real time and even during the time it takes to switch your glance between the two (or the lag over WIFI) it may have changed slightly!Setting up the WIFI app may be a handful for some folks. You must have a wireless router that can handle the 2.5 ghz range. Connect your phone to the router at 2.5 ghz. Download the Tuya Smart Life app and start setup. Long press the button on top of the unit to turn it on. The WIFI indicator on the unit will be flashing. After setup the WIFI symbol stays on solid. One more very important point; if you normally use 5ghz to connect your phone to your router you can switch back to this AFTER setup. You are not bound forever to use your phone at 2.5ghz to use the app !! The app also has a bottom readout section called "Out Side" which has data from somewhere unknown (probably China) that you must disregard. Use only the upper section called "In Side".

Mobile app setup is confusing. AQI readings is not accurate!
Bought this to monitor the indoor air quality due to the recent CA fire. The setup is a confusing as your need to figure out where the reset button is located. This button does not exist! The only button available is inside the tiny pin hole beside the micro-USB port. This button put the monitor to act as a WIFI hotspot.I am not able to setup the monitor using the first method where you need to press the RESET button. This method timeout after 60 sec and the app changed to use the "switch pairing mode" method. Now, you need to press the button beside the micro-USB. This will make the monitor broadcast a WIFI SSID with SmartLifeXXX. Next, you will need to change your mobile device WIFI network to this SSID to continue with the mobile app setup. After that, I am able to connect the monitor to my WIFI network and use the mobile app.Besides the setup issue, the AQI readings are also way off. The indoor air smell smoky and the AQI PM2.5 is still in the 20s.The monitor build quality is surprisingly good and display is bright. I would have kept it if the readings are not way off.

Display present time
Display easy to read, the monitor seems to pickup certain things in the air better than others. I purchase this to help show when air quality inside my apartment was affected by neighbors smoking in a nonsmoking apartment building. Some days the order was picked up more than other days when it had a strong sickening affect on me. I needed to repeatly look up what line represented what. The app is t the best. It’s not very detail and only display as a line graph over time. You can’t see what the actual ready is unless you catch on the display in present time.

Great to Measure Air Quality
Very sensitive and can work plugged in or for a period of time using its battery. Easily picks up particles from outside smoke, cooking odors, and indoor fires. Unbelievable how quickly your air can get from cooking or burning inside. Correlates well with my allergies. Higher particles from outside means worse allergies for me. Interfaces will with the phone app and the display is easy to read. The LED changing from Green to yellow to red allows you too see the quality of the air from a distance. Not negative comments about this product.

Simple and inexpensive
I was looking for a reliable pm 2.5 censor at a reasonable price. For those that can connect to WiFi, it usually costs about $150+. The reading is consistent and reliable, as I compared to my AtmoTube. Happy with it so far.

unit accuracy and SMART LIFE software -fix of software needed 1 digit
Accuracy does not agree with other gov and private monitors in the area (within 20 miles) by x5 to x10. Many wildfires in the area now. Display goes up and down in 2.5, 1, 10 readings during the day - but not really accurate. Also in the software Smart life the outdoor numbers also do not trackAlso the temp and Hum fields show only one digit. The outdoor reading (whatever it is) does also one digit. How to calibrate?

This unit might give lower values than actual
Have had this unit for a couple of weeks, in CA during horrendous air quality and heat. Unit only shows raw PM, not US EPA AQI. Just now comparing to a PA-I showing US EPA AQI, and the iClever raw value has always been lower by a factor of 5 or more.Pros: nice display, indicator light, portable, can run on battery for a few hours, smart app to view history, app combines regional outdoor measurementsCons: seems to run low (scaling factor?), can't view history with online account, app outdoor temperature is showing Celsius even though it's labeled Fahrenheit, can't see history of PM10, PM1 temperature, etc.
