Newdow Women's 1950s Style Vintage Sweetheart Wiggle Cocktail Dress (Small, 09 Black)

I bought this dress because I'm in love with the short sleeved version. I'm not as in love with this one, instead I merely really really like it. Something about the sleeves, make the fit in the chest a little more tricky. I bought it in a Medium, although I could have problem gotten away with a small. I'm 5'7'' and usually a 4/6. Although, I'm smaller in the chest, so if something fits my chest it usually will me tight in the hips/arms. Anyway, the dress is made of a thick stretchy very forgiving fabric. In winter I could see myself ordering this is every color.

This is my all-time favorite Amazon dress! I now want it in every color, especially Rose. I'm a TV reporter and the bright color looks great on air. I am 5' 8" and 163 lb. I ordered a large. Fits like a glove.

The back shoulder and chest area is a bit loos and the gathering in the front is as well. It fits fine if everything is pulled down but it shifts naturally as the body moves. The fabric is stretchy and is better to size down than to size up. I'm 36-27-36 and 5'3", it goes past my knees and a small would have fit better than the medium.

This dress is incredibly sexy, but also demure enough to wear to work or church. I lost 50lbs, and am very curvy. i ordered an XL, but could've gotten away with just a L...however, this is like, Marylin Monroe sexy, showing all my curves and none of the flaws. My husband couldn't believe his eyes, he called me "his young bride", I bought this for our 25th wedding anniversary. I hope to update soon with a pic, but I just got it today and tried it on to check the fit, and everything was perfect!! I plan on losing another 10 lbs, and then ordering all the other colors! It's easy to accessorize with a belt or jacket, and bling. Quick shipping as well. Love it!!!!!

Gorgeous dress! The only problem I had with it was the folds across the front. I had to iron them down a few times so they would lay right, or they bulged out. But it fit perfectly. I'm 5'8 and 125 pounds and I was afraid it would be too big. But everything fit right. "Simple and elegant" everyone told me, and they were right! I love this dress.

Love the ruching detail in the front and I like that this dress has some stretch, however if stretched even a little too much, it is see-through. The Small was a little too snug in the waist, torso, chest, and arms, but a bit loose in the upper back. Very odd fit. I'd try for a Medium but not sure it's worth the hassle if the upper back will be even looser than the Small. Cute dress, but not for my body type. For reference I'm 5'2", 123 lbs, 34D-26-34.

I'm a little torn on this one. I'm a curvy size 12 or L in most dresses. I sized up on this one and got the XL. I bought this along with a few other very reasonably priced body con style dresses. It was my first time ordered imported dresses online. The style is fantastic. The fit is perfect. I would recommend sizing up. The fabric is not a cotton knit. It's a woven stretch rayon. It's almost like a very thin scuba ponte. It needs to be fitted, yet not too tight. I bought it in black. I'm not sure how it will wash and stand up as rayon tends to shrink. The style itself is very figure flattering. Considering the price, it was a good purchase.
