Myobe Women's Shawl Collar Thick Striped Open Front Cardigan

So when I first got this, I was surprised because it's not a sweater. It's like a polyester material, kind of slippery to the touch.Then I was surprised because the elbow patches were sewn literally on the wrong side of the elbow. LOL. At first I thought "maybe I have the arms twisted" but nope. And I'm not talking like they were off-center on my elbow, they were literally centered over the inside of my elbow! haha. So after debating whether or not I'd take it back and try again, I decided I'd take the patches off and sew them on the right side myself. After that, a super cute cardigan!Next I went to wash it. Yup, hand washed it cold with gentle soap, yet still the brown from the elbow patches bled all over the cardigan AND everything else I was washing at the time. Ruined a few shirts, which ticked me off. Because the cardigan was that slippery polyester, however, the dye didn't "stick" to the fibers, and after stain treating it, all the dye came out. (I wish I could say the same thing for my other shirts!)I mean, it's a cute shirt sure, but it's caused me a lot of trouble. Learn from my mistakes when buying/washing this thing.

(Writing this review on my husbands account)This item is very cute as a little coverup to finish off an outfit and make it cute! Not meant to be a sweater but just something light. Very thin. Reviews said it runs small - Id say I’m a medium generally but I ordered a large. Fits perfect.
