So I really wanted to try a keratin hair treatment without paying hundreds of dollars and risking Covid at a salon. I have thick, slightly wavy Caucasian hair that is regularly colored and I struggled with bad frizziness. I bought this product through Amazon as it was one of the cheaper keratin products. I’m writing this review 2+ weeks after doing the treatment myself at home and about 4 hair washes later.Pros:- it’s a real keratin treatment. It works very well!- multiple hair washes and 2 weeks later my hair still has a wonderfully soft and less frizzy texture for my hair type. I did not notice any change to my hair color either.- I was able to air dry my hair and it stayed beautifully straight!- very affordable- love my hair post treatment, easier to manage, no more frizzCons:- the smell and fumes are intense! My eyes were burning and crying when flat ironing at the end. I will only plan to do once or twice a year because of how difficult it was. I suggest getting a 2nd person to help apply the treatment and iron, and don’t do it solo.- the smell lasts for days and gets in your pillow since you’re not suppose to wash your hair for 2 days after treatment (it’s very unpleasant)- definitely has some formaldehyde, which is why it’s so effective and so pungent and harsh to your eyes, throat and nose- I do not believe the company or product is made in the US, it’s foreign. So use at your own risk.

I'm a not a professional hair dresser by any means. I just like saving money. I had previously done my hair at a salon and they used a different treatment. I could tell because it smelled different and it was very flaky when they dried it. I used the Keratin Straightening kits and my hair turned out gorgeous. You just have to make sure you blow dry it VERY straight, like they do in the salon and also seal it with the hair straightener. Good luck!

Es bien difícil tratar tu cabello con el productor. Quema los ojos garganta nariz cuando. Estás poniendo el tratamiento cuando lo secas y cuando lo planchas. Es horrible Puse 2 ventiladores ventana abierta y puertas abiertas y así. Fue terrible ,después tienes q estar con. El tratamiento 72 horas no llevo ni un día y fue imposible dormir la primera noche porq te. Quema la nariz y garganta luego durante el día suelta gases y sigue hiriendo espero dormir esta noche la verdad pienso q es demasiado fuerte y tóxico y si no puedo dormir me voy a la lavarlo de una porq es un martirio el pelo se siente duro y pesado porq. Aun sigue con el producto espero. Q el resultado final valga la pena el sufrimiento

I love this product. It makes my hair so soft and smooth. If it can do that to my hair, it truly is amazing. Have used before and I'll continue to use for a long, long time. Im gonna be able to get two applications from these bottles. My hair is shoulder length. I'd definitely recommend. My hair turned out better than when i had it professionally done for 1/5 the price. Love it!

I like that it helps fix damaged hair because my hair is damaged and I needed that quick fix I dislike the smell it’s really strong had me in tears do this in a vanilated room with open windows or outdoors I used this product to straighten my hair because I have had bad experience with first time hair relaxer my hair burnt off

This is fantastic! My hair looks friggin amazing! I was so afraid that I was going to damage my hair using a new product I was unfamiliar with BUT it looks great! WILL BE ORDERING AGAIN!

If you want to have that Brazilian blowout look then this is definitely the product to use. After I was done with the entire process, which, I'm sorry, doesn't just take 30mn. It took me 2h30mn!!!! Not only that but my eyes and throat hurt soooo bad!!! Other than that, the product works great.

I’m so sad this is unavailable right now, this product has blown my mind with how amazing it it, especially the price! I can’t wait to get more, while you use the treatment it’s smells so bad just so you guys know!
