I've had this for 4+ months now and have washed it probably 6 -8 times with no problems at all. I have two older cats who, unfortunately throw up on my bed fairly often and this has been a life saver. Instead of having to wash layers and layers of bedding I just have to wash this and it comes out great. It does attract fur a bit so the corner they like to sleep on gets a little furry, but it's easy enough to get off and it's a small price to pay. In a perfect world, these would come in pretty comforter designs, since I get lazy and leave it on the bed most of the time, but it does the job.

I now have 3 of these blankets from this Company. I also own 4 other urine/water proof blankets. I own 2 longhaired Chihuahuas. In the past one of the males peed on the bed. I decided to use these blankets to protect my comforter. Now the doggie has stopped peeing on the bed. But I still use the blankets. I love all the colors. The navy is a deep navy color. I bought the 70 x 90. I use them as decoration mainly for my Cal King bed. As I only have the blanket at the foot of my bed. At night I pull it up to about 1/2 way. The blanket is very soft, and not too heavy. I also have the beige and burgundy ones. I get bored with the look of my bed and these blankets help change the look of the bed. I have not washed any of the blankets yet so I can not comment on that. But I have washed the similar blankets from another Company. The blanket hold on to a lot water. This What I do to get rid of the excess water. I run the blanket on the drain & Spin cycle in my washing machine. I have to run the drain & spin cycle about 3 times. Then I dry on low for the regular amount of time. If you have a drain & spin cycle use it. Or do something similar

Got a good deal on this in a tolerable color so I ordered it. I have an old cat who gets UTIs and will pee on my bed and chair (it hurts to pee in the potty box, so they will pee on something soft because that makes sense). I do like it and so far it's waterproof. I've washed it a couple times on gentle cycle and dried it in the dryer on low. They come out of the washer soaking wet, no matter the level of the spin I use, and take at least an hour and a half to dry on low. The downside to this blanket is that it's a pet hair magnet. I've got other brands and they don't have the same issue. I can't say how many washes it will last as waterproof though. It is the same material on both sides, a sort of a fleece fabric. It is warm and does sound like a tarp when you move it, but just feels like a fleece blanket.

This is very soft on the sofa and it’s great. It catches all the muddy paw prints or accidents!

Perfect for covering my new sectional (aka oversized pet bed). Very cozy and it’s keeping all pet hair, dirt, drool from getting to our new couch. I have 2 dogs, a cat and myself snuggling up on it. I just shake it out and vacuum the floor everyday. I was able to wipe the drool up with a wipe. It did not penetrate the blanket.Update 5/18/20-Now that I’ve used the blanket for a few months I am happy to report:It kept a liquid doggie poop accident from penetrating to sofa. I was able to pick up the poop with a few baby wipes as it sat on top of the blanket.It is also super easy to wash in my home washer. I dry it in the dryer on low, just long enough to get all the water out. I take it out while it is a little damp and drape it over my clean kitchen table until it dries all the way. It takes a really long time to dry in the dryer.

I ordered a couple of these blankets to cover upholstered living room chairs so that I won't get them soiled with dirt or sweat after doing yard work, gardening, etc. outside before cleaning up at the end of the day. I have not washed this blanket yet, so please look at other reviews for information about that, although I see how this blanket might require a little extra drying time due to its "substance." It's not a cheap-o product at all. So far I'm very pleased with it and am especially pleased with the size of 70" x 70" because that's enough to cover a couple wingback chairs. I looked into fitted seat covers for the wingbacks, but in the end, I felt a regular blanket of the size I mentioned would be sufficient, and it is. Plus, I can now use the blanket for many other covering purposes as. I'm very pleased with it.

This blanket’s pretty great. I bought it because our dog is going through her first heat and my duvet cover is white. Well, WAS white. It fits (kind of) on a king sized bed if you put it sideways and leave the pillows uncovered. I think it’s meant for a couch but it was so effective I didn’t return it.ANYWHO it’s waterproof so far. I’ve washed and dried it twice and water still rolls right off it. Best of all, I can spot clean it with a wet rag so stains don’t just sit there (I got navy blue anyway). So far so good and it adds a nice soft warm layer to my bedding. Not too warm though, it’s ok for Hawaii.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this product is so great it’s definitely worthy of a 5 star review! This blanket is amazing! I have 2 dogs-one is older and has incontinence issues and the other is a paw-licker. We put this blanket on top of our bed to protect the linens and mattress from accidental pee leaks and big wet marks from paw licking. It is 100% water proof and saves me from washing loads & loads of laundry. Our bed linens stay clean and dry and I can just throw this blanket in the wash quick if needed. I’ve had it for several months and it has held up great! (It gets washed about once a week) I would definitely recommend this blanket to anyone with pets wanting to protect your bed, furniture, etc. Fabulous product!
