This is one of two Hot Ones hot sauces that we buy! They are the only hot sauces we will buy. This has a great consistency and a nice kick. If you like verde sauces with some heat, this is it for you! Not watery and doesn’t split.

added some of this to the batch of pulled chicken I made and loved the flavor. more than i usually spend on a bottle of sauce for this size but great for certain occassions.

They say it’s in the middle-of-the-road of heat and flavor (which it is), but it’s the peak of flavor-meets-spice! We’re talking sweet and mild with a nice lingering heat! The texture is smooth and not too smokey. This is your daily hot sauce that makes pepper heads turn their heads to shamelessly look at the bottle across the street. My only gripe is that the best deal is on a 3 pack, but TOTALLY WORTH IT once you taste it. It’s the kind of awesome heat and sweet that make you wonder: “Have I been wrong my entire life? Have I unlocked the secrets of the universe by simply having this delicious hot sauce?” The answer to both is ‘Yes,’ but not in a way that makes you feel bad. It’s the warm hug your food needed on those emotionally cold days. It’s the spice that truly nice with a welcome bite back. It’s the “everything is going to be okay” to the bland food your just-starting-to-use-veggies-in-everything recipes you haven’t perfected yet. It’s seriously ‘the one,’ and you can totally have it. Awesome flavor, the best tasting sauce I've tasted so far, not much heat but it does creep up on you after a bit. I have to take away a star for the price as 20 bucks a bottle it just too much to pay for the amount you get. Unless heatonist works on lowering their prices i won't buy again, as tasty as it is i just can't justify 20 bucks a bottle for this.

I’ve tried A LOT of hot sauces, and this one is by far the best I’ve ever had. This stuff goes great on anything…seriously. It’s got a great balance of sweet and spice. Not overly vinegary and bursting with flavor that can go with pretty much anything you can think of. I put it on tacos, eggs, meat, fish, sandwiches, potatoes, it just really complements a wide variety of foods. The spice level is about medium to medium-hot range, so not for people with a low spice tolerance, but someone who appreciates the heat but isn’t seeking out super hot stuff and dumping gobs of that red chili sauce you find at Asian restaurants onto their plates, or eating habaneros and ghost peppers for fun. I can handle a good bit of heat, but really appreciate the middle range for the balance of heat and flavor, so this is perfect for anyone else who likes to keep it in that range and appreciates a real nice bottle of hot sauce. Especially for any of you foodies who are looking for the perfect complement to your homemade gourmet street tacos or anything like that.

Absolutely great flavor for a hot sauce. That being said, not hot. Tasty on a chicken wrap or fajita, even tacos. Tabasco hot sauce is way hotter. Cost wise, I used over half a bottle on a chicken wrap sandwich with little heat from the sauce. 5oz per bottle, is it worth it? Flavor a 10, value a 1. I bought 3, that's one per sandwich @$13.50 per bottle total cost was $40 for three. Definitely try it out if you can afford it but it won't last long. I'm a big fan of the show but the cost needs to come down.

This hot sauce shouldn't be categorized as Hot Sauce, but An Everything Protein Sauce. It's just so good! It's awesome with just about everything.
