If you're going to mount to a painted wall, id use screws since its easier to fix. Make sure you mount these in the right spot because if you want to move them later, they will take off the paint from your wall. (Extremely sticky!) I had to patch a 2"x2" spot that was ripped right off. (My fault for not thinking ahead) So i still give it 5 of 5 star since product worked as advertised.

Both of the mounts bases were cracked almost all the way through. It still looked solid though because the adhesive seemed strong. After mounting to the wall for 72 hours. I attached the vive base station. It fell off less then 24 hours later peeling a huge chuck on paint off my wall with it. Not worth it at all. I’ll stick with the screw mount.

So the people in these reviews are complaining about them falling off. I have four set up around my gaming room and I haven't had a single one fall of. The secret? Follow the instructions and let it sit to where you stick it with nothing on it for the first 72 hours at least. It's really that easy. Stick it on there securely and wait. Then put your stations on there.

I don’t doubt this is a great product to use if you have smooth walls. Unfortunately mine are not. Fell off the wall about 6 hours after installation. Still is sticky but I ended up just using a drywall screw through it. Is what it is, lol. Other than the adhesive, the mount is well made and I’d probably buy them again if I get better walls.

I have walls that have an "orange peel" texturing to them and these mounts just wouldn't hold well. One fell the night I installed it. Luckily the base station wasn't damaged and I gave it another chance, taking protective measures just in case it fell again. The other held well for about a week before I noticed the mount dangling with the top half completely detached. Ended up getting two clamp mounts for my bookshelf and door instead...They also felt cheap, had little room to swivel, and are so close to the wall that it's hard to plug cables in...

I absolutely love this product. If I didnt have these I wouldnt have a way to mount my base stations to my plastic walls in my room. Screw in isnt an option so I went with these. Durability is astounding, great value for your money and heres where the trouble begins.The ADHESION these things are a lot like popsockets for your htc vive basestations and they work the same way, find a place for it to go, peel the sticker off the back and press and hold for a good second. I actually need to buy a new pair because the adhesive came undone it caused my $125 each base stations to fall off the wall several times if it wasnt for my plastic walls and good cable management my base stations would be broken and I would be broken-hearted as I would have to shovel $250 more to get back into my vr. Now nothin that can’t be fixed with plenty of duct tape.

These hold up the base stations for my Valve Index surprisingly well. After feeling just how heavy the base stations are, and how lightweight the wall mount was, I was surprised at how easy it was to put up, and how well they've stayed so far. It's been about a month and a half, and I've taken one of the base stations off the wall a couple times and they're solid as ever. When I move out I'm actually worried I'll have to take a hairdryer to it to weaken the adhesive and not pull the paint off like in other reviews.

These are a great alternative for folks who want to wall mount their base stations instead of drilling holes weather it be for not having the handyman skills to find the right place to drill or not wanting to leave holes in the wall in a rental, for me it was a little of both.Be sure to clean the wall first before applying the adhesive the mount will fall off of a dusty wall. This happened to me but there was no apparent damage to the base station or the wall so I wiped the area with a disinfecting wipe and re-stuck the base station, no falls since then.

For the people saying that their base stations fell off be aware they probably did not read the instructions. The sticky adhesive used on this product is 3M VHB. If you read the instructions on how to cure VHB it will cure fully only after 72 hours (Not 4 hours like the one guy said lol!). I followed the curing instructions and have had my base stations holding for the last 3 weeks and ZERO sign of the adhesive failing. These mounts are incredible for the price and have no issue rotating to see one another angle wise. I can understand that some people are excited to play their VR but don't rush to play the same day you install these, wait the 72 hours and you are good FOREVER.

Grundsätzlich sind die Halterungen super, jedoch hält der Klebstoff nicht. Dieser ist jedoch sehr leicht abzumachen und dann einfach mit zwei Klebestreifen für Raufasertapete an die Wand fest gemacht. Basisstation der Valve Index halten seit 3 Wochen ohne Probleme.

Cleaned my walls, mapped where I was going to put my base stations accordingly, then applied the mounts. However the longest one only lasted 6 1/2 hours before tumbling to the ground with the base station along with it. This happened to BOTH so I know that one wasn't faulty by accident.Waste of money in my personal opinion.

The 3M adhesives stick a hell of a lot better than you think they do. They have an adjustable angle and a screw to hold it at that angle.Two of them come per order, keep that in mind before you end up with four of them like me.
