It's great for what it is, which is a way to get cool air blowing on you
I've had one of the original Evapolars since 2016 and was one of the product's supporters on IndieGoGo. I got the original one to use on my desk at work, where I'm hotter than some of the other people in the office. It's been great to use because this way they can have the office air conditioner set higher than I like it while I can still get cool at my desk. This year I got the newer larger unit to use in my condo because our entire building switches over twice a year from heating to air conditioning and vice versa, and in the spring we have some hot days before the switch to cooling. Also, I live on an upper floor and thus get heat from units below me even if I have my thermostat set low. Not so bad usually with windows open and a fan running, but still hotter than I prefer for sleeping.I put this new Evapolar on my nightstand positioned to blow cool air at my head while I'm asleep. It takes 78-80 degree air (yes, that's with the window open and 65 or lower degree weather outside — the folks below me are running their heat because of that!) and pumps out 65 degree air at me. It makes a real difference, and I'm pleased to have this as a solution. I should have done this last year, and I'm sure I'll be happy to have this to use again in the fall after we switch back to heat and then have some hot fall days.Don't buy one of these thinking it will cool a room, even a small room. It's not designed for that. It's designed to blow cold air on an individual person. Its fan is not particularly quiet, but I'm already used to sleeping with a fan, and I also use a CPAP, so I've gotten used to that noise as well. For me this is an ideal solution to a specific problem.

Lies about it capabilities(doesn't cool) and overpriced.
This product is horrible, the advertisement is a bunch of lies they claim it create a cool environment for small spaces; it does not do that, my $17.44 fan from Wal-Mart does a better job of keeping my cool. All it does creates a slight cool breeze that you could barely feel if you're directly in front of it, it does not creates a cool climate that the advertisements claim. It is nothing more than a overpriced compact computer fan with lights, and app that control it from your phone and oh yea..... It has humidifying capabilities for $270. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! If I could rate it 0 stars, this product would surely receive it. Seriously its ridiculous.

Seriously the cable broke the first time I used it! I liked the evopolar light but not this version, buy Honeywell if your looking to keep an apt room cool.

Good Investment
I keep this on deck all the time. The range is not all that great, but it doesn't matter all that much because I keep it on my computer desk. Considering the craziness that is summer heat, I can honestly say that I do not regret my investment in the least.
