All the brands in the UK seems to have an aligned pricing structure and for an iron with over 5 bar of pressure your looking at 130-200, the Decen steam generator doesn't cost anywhere near that and whilst being of a lighter and most likely cheaper build quality, the functionality is brilliant. It belts out high pressure steam, warms up to a good heat and takes the creases out just as well as our previous iron that cost £200 (before it broke).Over the moon with the cost saving and it just shows that you don't have to buy branded to get good quality. Bought as my steam generator iron from another brand stopped working and this one looked good value for my money..BIG mistake. The first time I used it the steam came out constantly, the button on the iron handle had no effect whatsoever..on my second time of using it I thought I would start off with a low temp setting and increase to see if that cured the steam problem..NOPE! All that did was dump water from the bottom of the iron everywhere as it heated up. On my third time of using it I started off impressed..the constant steam stopped and was controlled by the button on the iron handle..but it was short lived, it lasted two shirts..The iron light kept coming on and the steam stopped dispite the tank being full..pressing the button had no effect what so ever... I am now done with this iron and currently in the process of returning it for a refund. Save your money and time and dont bother.

So I thought I would just test it out first.Having a larger tank is ideal so you don't have to keep refilling. It glides nicely and once you've selected the right setting, gets the creases out really well.Overall, It's been well designed, does a great job, and I'm a very happy customer.

I bought this iron in Nov. 19 so I realise I am out of date for a return, but this iron is actually dangerous. It spurts and spews boiling water for no apparent reason without any warning. It soaks the board, the item being pressed and, if sitting upright, the floor.I finally decided last week that I'd had enough, I had 5 items partially ironed with a large soaking mark in their middle.Today I bought another iron.

Steam Iron is excellent.Instruction manual compiled by someone who knows what to do, but unfortunately misses out the bits that us lay people need to know! Had the instruction manual been 'up to scratch' this would have got 5 stars.

this steam iron was utter rubbish and i returned it for credit without using it.as the instructions were very poor and the so called filter was impossible to remove as you were instructed to do before use.Honest opinioni did in fact have a request from another customer of this item asking if i knew how to remove this filter.

Never heard of this make but thought I'd give it a try. Wished I'd never bothered. rubbish just chucked it in the bin today. Started to go wrong about 2 months ago, steam irregular, then started dumping water all over my laundry. I've learnt my lesson by cheap buy twice.
