iClever IC-H003 4-Port Superspeed USB 3.0 Hub with a Built-in 1ft USB 3.0 Cable

This was as described. Works great for both 2.0 and 3.0 flashdrives and I even have a number pad constantly plugged in. I have been using this since the day I opened it. I will buy more. I recommend for everyone. Good product and well made. Got here fast and reasonably priced.

Does not work with my wifes iphone, or kids ipod. It says it doesn't work with the ipad so didn't even try that one. didn't need or expect it to. but when you steal the apple theme iproduct it should work with iproducts- it doesn't. Buyer BEWARE! usb ports should charge usb ported devices, this does not. Works great with my nexus phone.

I've had this USB hub for over a month now (I don't have it plugged into a USB 3.0 port, so take this review with a grain of salt if that is your intended use). The hub itself works as expected, the only issue I have is that the cord that connects the hub to the computer is thick, which albeit helps in maintaining durability, makes it hard to orient the hub in any other way. Thus, my hub is flipped while connected to my laptop. Also, it's not weighted and has a small footprint, which means it'll easily topple over onto its side. That does mean however, that it's extremely portable. I also like the one port at the end of the hub--I wish there were other ports on either side as well.

I bought this to use two external hard drives instead of taking up both USB 3.0 ports in my desktop. It wouldn't recognize anything after the first port.

So weird common issue that all 3.0 cables seem to have in common is that they seem to be twisted, meaning one end is up and the other is down. With this device it's annoying. When I plug it into my laptop, the ports are all facing down due to the way this is wired, and that forces you to fight the device to get to its ports. This wouldn't be a huge problem if the cable wasn't as thick as it is, sure I could solve the issue with velcro, that's not the point, it's just an annoying issue I run into a lot with these cables. I had this issue with a hard drive I bought. You either need to make the cable more flexible, or long enough for this to be a non-issue, or add some weight to its base to counter the resistance.

There isn't much to say about this. It does it's function. I wish there were more plugs. I used up my computer plugs for speakers, keyboards, web cam, printer, external hard drive, and this. I needed this for my light, usb, and cell phone to recharge. I wish I had more slots to plug in other things like my humidfier and SD portable music thing. Buy one with more than four slots. You know you will need more.
