Short story
Not a big fan of these type of stories. I know they are written as quick money makers but it would be better if they were at the beginning of the book that has to deal with the new character instead of these short stories. This is a quick little story of the death of Cottons brother in law and Cotton finding out how and why he died.

Short stories
Entertaining short stories (as Steve Berry’s work always is), but they feel disconnected because they are clearly from a bigger universe. The stories are good, but I feel like I need way more backstory or information to fully get them.

Interesting
I read 2 of these stories as they were added on to two of the full length Cotton Malone novels. As I didn't want to read a non-Cotton Malone series book to get the third, The Admiral's Mark, I had to buy the 3 short story bundle. You can find my opinions of the other two stories in my reviews of the books with which they were included. The Admiral's Mark was a good story and it might have been fun as a full novel as well. I really enjoy Steve Berry's work. I won't bore you with a plot summary as I know other people are fond of doing that. I think everyone who likes the full novels should definitely read the short stories. They fill in pieces of information and are fun quick reads. Have at it!

Can’t get anywhere else
When you need a Steve Berry/Cotton Malone fix, you will read anything and everything. Even short stories satisfy. Another good set of stories until his next novel comes out

It was OK, if you like 2 stories that don't have Cotton Malone in it
The stories were OK. I didn't like the fact that they didn't seem finished or had a point to them. In the 2nd story it's about a disgruntled spy who got kicked out of his job by Cotton and how he just happened to find the son of Adolph Hitler who was remorseful of what his father did. But when they found the stash of Nazi memorabilia they did nothing with it. I found that to be pointless. Good story, but pointless - especially since I was expecting 3 stories about Cotton Malone and I only got one that he was actually in. The third story was about finding Columbus's ship. So they found it and then they did nothing with it. There was a about a journal that went nowhere and I was just left wanting more to it. But I did enjoy it for what there was of it.

Steve Berry's Books are awesome! I have read each and every book that he has written and they get better with each book. I wish that he would write more than one book a year! His mixture of historical facts and fiction are so close to reality he has to describe what is real and what is fiction in the end of each book. I would recommend Steve Berry to anyone that loves excitement and adventure! He keeps you on the edge of your seat and does it with enough detail to make you feel like you are in the scene with Cotton Malone or what ever character he is writing about!

... three tales from the World of Cotton Malone make good companions to Steve Berry's novels
These three tales from the World of Cotton Malone make good companions to Steve Berry's novels. While they can be read as stand-alone stories, they give background information or offer alternative viewpoints for some of his more recent novels. If you like Berry's Cotton Malone character, Steve Berry's novels in general, you'll enjoy this brief visit to Cotton Malone's world. It will also whet your appetite for the next full length novel!

Beware Dupluicate stories.
"Beware" Duplicate stories. Check to see if you have read before the full Cotton Malone books in this publication; this book is a rehash of full length books and a waste of money.
