Comparing NiZHi TT-029 and NiZHi TT-032
First impression: the TT-032 has better sound quality but less features than the TT-029.The TT-032 is best described as a good portable FM radio that happens to play MP3s; both the FM sensitivity and overall sound quality is better than the TT-028. The TT-029 plays MP3, WMA, and WAV and can record WAV off the radio; FM on the TT-029 sounds a bit rough around the edges but works fine after you tune-in a station. the TT-029's little 3-inch antenna is all but useless for anything other than the strongest stations; however, it's "FM/LINE-IN" jack also works as an antenna in the same way as the TT-032. The TT-032 pulls in more stations than the TT-029. Plug earbuds into the TT-029 or TT-032 "FM/LINE-IN" jack for a cheap, adjustable FM antenna. The TT-029 is the better MP3 player; it actually displays meta-data (the TT-032 does not). In fact, the TT-032 only displays the currently playing song's elapsed time and has no provision for anything other than sequential play (no repeat or random mode, and *no* song navigation other than previous and next). I consider the TT-032 a frustrating disappointment: the sound quality is very good; but, the inability to control MP3 playback means you have to carefully plan the song order. Both units have very distracting "disco" LEDs that blink and change color (it may be to the music, it may be random, it's hard to tell). All I know is that it made gaudy sense to have this feature inside the TT-029's clear plastic case, but absolutely no sense to include a multicolored blinking LED on the bottom of the TT-032. It uses up battery power and it's only function seems to be to remind you that it's turned on. BTW: While both units have questionable battery life, both units can be operated while charging. The TT-029 charges through a mini-USB port; the TT-032 uses a micro-USB connection (it's easy to find a dedicated charger for micro-USB; any 5-volt cell-phone charger between 500-1000 milli-amps should work just fine). The TT-029's mini-USB port might be more problematical for you, but not for me (I already have a battery charger with a USB Type-A connection that works for either unit, with the right cable). The TT-029's display is crude compared with the TT-032, but still readable with it's controllable backlight (The TT-032 has a nice LCD-looking display that backlights for a few seconds when you press a button; but, the backlight is generally not necessary since the display is easy to read in normal light. The 4 buttons on the TT-029 are atrocious; while, the 5 buttons on the TT-032 are bit confusing. You don't really need the dedicated FM button (you can get to the radio by cycling through the mode button. The extra button is unnecessary and causes problems when trying to use the other buttons to set the time or alarm (BTW: The TT-029 has a calendar function, as well). Not only does the TT-029 have an alarm function, you can also fall asleep or wake up to the FM radio by setting it's turn-off and turn-on times (the TT-032 is sadly lacking this feature). I still haven't figured out how the TT-032's alarm works.I've been listening to good-quality MP3 through the TT-029 using my best headphones (and, while the tiny little speaker may not be best, the actual sound quality of the device isn't bad at all. FWIW: The TT-029 has preset equalization settings (Natural, Rock, Pop, Classic, Soft, Jazz, DBB, and SRS-Wow). The TT-032 has no EQ but sounds so good it really doesnt really doesn't need any. In fact, TT-032's sound on headphones is absolutely crystal-clear. It's a slight disappointment that the TT-032's Bass doesn't seem to significantly improve when listening on headphones (with the TT-029 it's like night and day).

As an mp3 speaker/player hard to find better for the price but there is a problem
I have to change my review since there is a problem with this player that the other one does't seem to have. After I've loaded 100 or so songs only about a 1/4 of them actually play. Instead the tracks that won't plat display 'Format Error'. In fact I am loading the identical playlist as I loaded on the TT-129. There is no troubleshooting to indicate why that is happening. Since I ordered 3 units the problem is the same on all 3.The operation manual is more like a computer logic diagram. For example there is no indication as to the sequence of buttons to press to perform various operations.I will be delighted to change my rating if the manufacturer can tell me how to correct this problem

Portability is great. Take it anywhere.
Bought one, and liked so much bought 2 more. One for my wife and one for a friend. Use on our morning walks & love to play while driving. Also like to listen in the house using ear buds if my wife is watching TV. Instructions can be found on Internet, and let's you increase font size, as printed instructions are very small font, old eyes cannot read them. Great sound, and have over 500 songs added to my SanDisc 32gb Micro SDHC-TF card. Takes a little playing around to learn features, but at 70 yr's old it should be much easier for young folks. If this little player only lasts a year, it only costs a buck a month, a darn good value. Two free MP-3 sites I like; godlychristianmusic.com & MP-3juices.com. The flashing LED lights are annoying but you can easily turn off. Battery life is great, as have listened for 2-3 hrs at a time, not sure how many hours it will play before having to recharge, as I just do so after listening for the 2-3 hrs.

Much better than the 028 and I loved the 028! OWNERS MANUAL ATTACHED
Much better than the TT-028. Has multiple repeat functions as well as randomized (shuffle) play. Shows song, title, artist, etc. Can select folders and repeat entire folder. Also time and alarm functions. Hard to get around with just four buttons, but this thing is compact and sounds GREAT for what it is. No, it's not a Bose system... but I don't know how they do this for $14!!For all those who want to know... I have attached a PDF (as two JPG file since Amazon doesn't allow actual PDF files) of the owners manual to show the various features and menus. Scanned on a Fujitsu high-speed scanner, if you must know. :-)

It's fine
I have a CD of white noise that I play continuously during my baby's naps. I wanted to be able to play it anywhere, even places that dont have a CD player. The mp3 player has been perfect for this when I use it with a micro SD card.Other info:The radio only picks up one station, and not very well. The USB reader stopped reading after the battery died while it was reading. The thumb drive I was using was somehow formatted as a result. I had to throw away the thumb drive because it wouldn't work in my computer anymore. The flashing lights are very annoying and I turn them off immediately each time I switch the player "on"The cord to charge it is very short, maybe only 8 inches long. I had to order a longer cord. It is a 5-pin USB cable. It plays for about 4 or 5 hours. I think I can leave it plugged in and turned on too.The micro SD reader has been perfect.

No engañar a nadie
Me gustó el modo aleatorio para reproducir la música mp3. Lo que no me gusta son las luces parpadeantes.
