Bright Light Desk Gooseneck Magnifier Lamp with Metal Large Clamp, Magnifying Glass with Adjustable Light for Daily Hobbies Repairing, Reading, Crafts

For the money, this is an outstanding buy. It's not good for an entire room, but as a spotlight on the work you are doing. I do a lot of paintning by numbers, and sometimes the numbers are impossible to read without good lighting. It only clips onto the edge of your desk, so check to make sure you have enough lip to attach the lamp securely. It's quite sturdy! It gets it's power from a USB cord, but it did come with the box to plug it into. The gooseneck is easily adjustable without causing the lamp to come off the table, and the powerful LED bulbs, which I can't tell if are replaceable or not, are nice and tight, it appears. There was no mention of bulb replacement in the tiny instruction sheet, it, like most things from China, it's cheap enough that I suppose you just replace the lamp when the bulbs start giving out. I believe the bulbs are supposed to last 100,000 hours, but check out the description to be sure. I think I saw another poster say the bulbs are glued in, which would indicate to me that they are definitely not replaceable. Anyway, I would purchase another just like it for a similiar need, which I don't forsee.

Good sized lamp, that clamps firmly to a table or desk. The magnifier is great. The gooseneck is stiff-ish, not horribly so, but good in that the goose neck stays stable and doesn’t flop over. I am using it for diamond painting and it helps me see some of the color codes that are dark on dark background. I want to use it for other things as well. You do need to plug it in, it comes with the plug, it IS NOT rechargeable.

I like that it is very easy to pose and move close to your work. I can finally thread a needle again and get back to my bead crafts. Great for any hobby requiring detail work. The lighting is very good being composed of multiple led lights instead of one focused lighting area. The table clamp is very sturdy and stays snugly fit on my slightly irregular table edge. Although it's 2 x magnification on the regular view is fine, the 4x view in the small circle could stand to be a little larger. It is a little difficult to maneuver your article into this small spot of 4x magnification. This "dot" of magnification is smaller than my pinkie fingernail, so if you need a larger 4x magnifier, I would suggest a different option. Great overall crafting light, however.

I love this lamp! It truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m using it for amateur craft and painting projects.A few details:- the look and feel is clean and sleek- it was packaged neatly and thoughtfully to keep all pieces safe, but without being bulky or complicated- it’s overall very lightweight, but not cheaply made- the clamp is strong and holds tightly- the cord is long and durable- the light has options for two brightness levels- the magnification and overall size of the magnifier is perfect, not too big or smallI’d highly recommend if you’re in need of something like this!

Ordered this for my wife and her projects where she needed a flexible light and magnifier near her computer. Couldn't be happier and had to buy a second one for me after seeing how convenient it was. The lens is large enough to use easily and includes a small loupe magnifier for really close up work. The two-level lighting system comes in handy when you really only need a little light without overkill...and when you need it...the bright is perfect. The clamp jaws are strong and open wide to fit up to an inch easily and the ability to use USB as well as a wall socket makes it able to be used anywhere. Quality product at a very attractive price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This light is a practical for working on electronics soldering like I do. I do also like that it can be bent to any angle and the price was right. However, the optics leave something to be desired. There are imperfections in the lens that would make reading or other activities a bit of a chore as there are ripples in the field of vision.
