This item does 100% what it purportedly says or will do. I compared it to a higher end brand, and it best it hands down with speed and sharpness and efficiency. I only wish it was build a little more sturdy for the long term. Good purchase though.

loved this tool. made my job a whole lot easier and faster. before, I had to use a sharp knife to remove the eyes and it took me a long time. I loved how easy this tool takes out the eyes and so precise. would definitely recommend this to anyone. the person who designed this did an amazing job.

This product worked well in removing the pineapple eyes. It can be time consuming in comparison to just slicing them off, however, there is more fruit saved through the use of this product.

Hurts to hold in your hand after just after removing the eyes on a whole pineapple,

Once outer skin of pineapple is cut off minimally the deeper "eyes" remain. This allows individually pocking and twisting them out without losing the pineapple flesh.

I really can't believe I managed without this pineapple eye-peeler for as long as I did. It saves so much time and way less of a mess in cleaning up a pineapple - so much less expensive to buy the whole pineapple then to get those already cleaned at the store!! YES a really great find!

I used a small knife before at it was so time consuming. With this tool it’s so easy and takes so little time to pick those things out.

This works as advertised and I prefer this to removing pineapple eyes with a knife. It's not very ergonomic (annoying to grip and you kind of have to avoid pinching your fingers where the metal pieces him) but I've gotten used to it. I had to widen the jaws manually (just bent the metal) when I first got it so it would get the entire eye I wanted to remove.
