Five Stars
Shipping was fast. I am not a Prime member but received my order much faster than I expected. I placed the order on Friday night and received it on Wednesday.I am 5’7 usually wear 30x30 pants. I was a little hesitate to order size “M” since I was not sure if it would fit me well. With adjustable system on both waistband and bottom tabs, it actually fits very well, very comfortable. This pair of pants is very well build, the fabric material seems very high quality and durable. I especially love the unique zipper ventilation design, some hiking areas you want to wear long hiking pants for extra protection, the zipper ventilation makes more comfortable when wearing long hiking pants in hot weather. Also the water resistant function is definitely a plus for outdoor activities. The price is affordable, most of this type of quality hiking pants are priced over $100.I am very happy with this purchase.

Awesome hiking pant - buy em
Love these hiking pants. We were hiking Mt. Katahdin 10/13/18. I want a pant that was breathable but also could take on some wind and colder weather. I am 5' 10" and 225 lbs. I take a 36" waist. I got the xl. I have large hockey legs and butt. Pants fit perfectly. Could adjust waist out if needed but did not have to. Do not think they would tighten much smaller than the 36".Hike started at 40 degrees. I wore these pants and some knicker tights that are very thin. Keep in mind, I am a heater. I am always warm so I dress on the light side to avoid sweating through. When skiing, I wear shell pant and one layer of thin long underwear for temps above 0. Shell jacket and shirt only to 10 degrees. Add a fleece vest below 15 degrees and a full fleece below 5 degrees. Got to Chimney pond and the temp dropped to 20s. Took Cathedral trail up. Got messy. Ice / snow / wind. Cathedral was a total scramble. It is not a hiking trail. More a bouldering trail. Pretty close to climbing in spots. You have to get on your hands and knees and butt in many spots. The pants took the abuse with no tears. The more flexible knee area is nice. I was never unable to make a move because the pant was stopping me. Got to top of Cathedral and it got worse when up on the ridge. 30+ mph winds. Sideways snow. In a cloud. We passed on going the 1/2mile to the top and traversed down to the saddle trail. Hit by left to right wind and snow the whole way. Legs were never cold. vented zippered leg vents a huge plus. Opened all the way up. Shut once on ridge.Highly recommend these pants for all points. Fit / breathability / toughness / wind protection. Will be good in winter for hiking / cross country skiing. They are not too heavy. I think I could hike in em to about 75 degees if I wanted. But I wear shorts at 50+.

I really like these pants, but...
I'll start and end this review on a positive. The fit looks trim but the stretchiness gives a very relaxed feel. In that, as well as the feel on the inside against the skin, these pants are fabulous. The legs are somewhat narrow (mine are size M), but I've got skinny legs, so in that sense they are better than regular blue jeans. There is plenty of room inside for SmartWool long undies. Nothing is really waterproof in a Pacific Northwest rainstorm, but the water does bead up nicely, so for pants I have no worries about getting soaked. Now the "cons". The seller's size chart says that M should fit 32-36" waist, and there is a tab to snug up the waist if you need. I wear a 34" waist in every pair of pants I've bought for the last 10 years - even blue jeans with shrinkage. The Zoomhill's fit as snug, or even snugger, than many-times-washed blue jeans. I'm still happily wearing them, but be warned if you aren't comfortable in a pair of 34" blue jeans that you've washed hundreds of times and still love. There are no hip pockets. That was a disappointment. They've moved the traditional patch pockets in men's pants from the hip to the thigh as though they were cargo pockets. They aren't cargo pockets - no gusset. No cargo. Carry flat things like a wallet, cell phone, compass, etc. and you'll be fine, since the pocket patch does stretch a bit; but don't carry hard/thick objects with sharp corners (keys, multi-tool, etc.) or you'll feel the stuff pressing into your thigh.Likewise with the open front pockets, but the pressure point is higher and thus felt less acutely.Back to positives. The stretchiness of the front pockets allows you to slide your hand in and out comfortably. The belt loops are just the right size for a 1-1/2" web belt. Zippers are high quality and slide easily. The western-style front pockets quite safely and comfortably accommodate clip knives, clip pocket flashlights, etc., keeping them secure and in the corner so they don't fight with other stuff in your pocket.Bottom line: I really like these pants in spite of the cons.

Nice pant for winter mountain biking
I am using these pants for mountain biking, fit is good and legs don’t inter fear with the chain or sprocket. I am 5’7 180 lbs and I have the large, plenty of stretch in the knees for thin knee pads which I wear. They seem pretty stout for the price they also have really good pockets which one of the hold my cell phone. I am pleased with these pants for mountain biking activity price and comfort pretty water resistant I think it’s a winner.

Great pair of pants!
I loved these pants. They were a perfect fit, and I really like the vent on the side because I overheat easily (I just wish it was a little bit longer). It had good pockets that zip close which is great if you are hiking through the woods and you want to make absolutely sure not to lose anything. The pants not having a back pocket threw me off at first, but I adjusted quickly. I am a fluffy 40 inch waist and the XXL fit perfectly, and they have their own strong Velcro tightening straps at the waist so a belt isn't 100% necessary. I will likely buy more of these pants, and I think they are a fantastic alternative to spending hundreds of dollars on some Fjallraven pants.
