Big Cutting Dies Diamond Background Die-Cut for Card Making Scrapboking Valentine's Day(A)

I used 65lb cover glitter paper and my Big Shot Pro. I used masking tape on all 4 sides- the full length. I finally had to shim the die with a folded piece of copy paper. The center was having trouble cutting so I cut off most of the glitter paper so I could turn the die every which way. I then kept mostly to the edges of the Big Shot Pro. It finally cut. I do wish the die had a border included. Having to cut out its own border is a little dicey for getting exactly matching edges. After all that I am using it. - added note - I see why it has no edge - so you can use it in the middle of a larger sheet of paper.

This die produces wow effects on cards that range from spooky (or sexy) in black to a welcome texture in colors to a delicate bridal effect in white. It cuts clean and on my Spellbinders Platinum I didn't even have to weed, the cuts were all sharp. Save the little pieces that come out. They are a pretty shape and I've added them for embellishments from time to time, used them in shaker cards, and they make great confetti.

I purchased this for the possibilities it offered in cardmaking. With all the windows the die has - I expected it might be hard to clean out the confetti. NOT SO - It cleans out very nicely. I also thought that with all the void area it might not hold a true 90 degree angle when you went to attach it to another layer of paper but again - I was pleasantly surprised.

I use Wax paper and the Die cut will cut our very well. If I don't then it takes longer to pry them off.

One of my best... cleans cuts except for two area.. paper shims cleans out easy...use roller...wax paper for the first few Times

I've been looking for a Morrocan trellis die for some time. I finally found one in this, and it came in good time. But, I was very surprised how very small the cut out spaces are. They are only about 1/4". Cuts fine but about a quarter of the size I expected. Another die that doesn't describe the sizes very well. It works, but just be aware very small.

Tried it with several shims...did not cut though at all with my Big Shot!!!!Update: Just got my new cutting and embossing machine (Vagabond 2) it it cuts it like butter....I am very happy with this die
